Accommodation
The spacious and well equipped accommodation sleeps 6+1 people plus small children and babies with 3 bedrooms. On the first floor there is one double (king size) and one twin bedroom sharing a family bathroom with luxury bath with shower over and toilet. A further double bedroom with a king size bed is on the ground floor with an en suite shower room and toilet. Each room is sufficiently large enough for travel cots and / or camp type beds.
A tiled fitted kitchen with slate flooring contains a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, luxury range cooker with gas hob and electric oven.
There is a large wheelchair accessible wet room with shower, wash basin & toilet.
The lounge has a 32" LCD TV with Free view, DVD and CD player, MP3 connection with surround sound system. Free WiFi available throughout the cottage.
All linen and bedding is provided and place settings for up to 12 persons are included. Swimming / beach towels are not provided.
There are two Church in Wales churches within walking distance as well as a Baptist Chapel in the village. Usk has a RC church and the nearest Synagogue and Mosque are in Newport.
Waitrose and Tesco can deliver to the cottage, Usk has a very well stocked Spar and for real foodies there is a spectacular award winning butcher in nearby Raglan, Neil James, that will amaze and delight anyone wanting to sample locally produced meat, game and produce.
The conversion of the cottage has been undertaken in the most environmentally way possible. The insulation is from sheep’s wool products and all the building materials are from renewable sources wherever possible and fitted by local craftsmen. Heating is under floor and all three power showers have eco adjusters fitted, (a constant 250L of hot water is stored for their use).
