FROM SOUTH or EAST (using motorway / dual carriageway roads)
ACROSS THE SECOND SEVERN CROSSING (toll £5.30- free return to England!)
Off M4, take COLDRA roundabout junction 24 take fourth exit signed A449 towards MONMOUTH /MIDLANDS. After about 9 miles, first junction is USK / BRYNBUGA take this exit.
Keep in right hand lane; you will need to cross over dual carriageway to take the A4235 towards CHEPSTOW / GWERNESNEY.
Past Rat Trap pub, at Gwernesney follow main road around sharp right.
Keep on road for about 1mile. You will pass a (black on white) “Llangwm” sign on left and you take the next left turn signed “St Jerome Ancient Screen”, also by a bus stop.
200 yards downhill, turn left at T junction past a big farmhouse and sheds, past St John’s Church on right, follow lane around to the right and Wagon House cottage is next to Church Farm, a cream house on the right.
FROM EAST (using mainly picturesque B road)
ACROSS THE OLD SEVERN CROSSING
Exit M4 after M5 interchange onto the M48 towards Chepstow.
Exit straight after crossing river towards Chepstow
At roundabout, go straight over towards Tintern, past hospital and take a left at the Racecourse garage (Mitsibushi / Honda dealer) onto the B4235 signed to USK / SHIRENEWTON
Keep on this road for 10 miles and you will drop down into Llangwm village.
After bus shelter on right, at The Bridge Inn pub take a right by a telephone kiosk. Road goes behind the pub.
Follow road, past farm on right. Follow lane around to the right and Wagon House cottage in next to Church Farm on the right.
FROM THE NORTH / MIDLANDS
Take M5 south towards the South West
Exit Junction 8 just after Strensham Services onto M50
Follow M50 to the end, Ross on Wye and take the A40 towards Monmouth
Drive through Monmouth towards Raglan still A40
Stay on dual carriageway towards Newport - it becomes the A449
Exit at the “USK / Brynbuga” junction
Then follow instruction in italics above
